Multi Classic is a 4mm thick multi dance floor.  It is the "little brother" of our Multi Flex and offers some impact protection in the form of a foam sprung single layer giving point elastic impact protection.

The 4mm thick product includes a 0.8mm wear resistant surface that is hard wearing and gives a great feel underfoot without being too "grippy" so the surface is suitable not only for dance but a whole range of other activities such as gymnastics, aerobics, pilates, etc.

The single foam sprung layer gives a degree of shock absorption at 9% compared to our Multi Flex at 18%.  A fully sprung floor gives approximately 60% shock absorption due to the area elastic properties - see here for the differences between point elastic and area elastic.  

Multi Classic can be either permanently installed with hot welded joins to give a seamless finish or it can be used as a temporary roll out solution and the joins can be taped down and easily removed but it is very heavy!  Another option is for the floor to be semi permanently fitted which is a great DIY solution.  Please click here for more information on the various installation options.
