Étage London is a design-led studio space offering a flexible setting for photo shoots, workshops, rehearsals, and especially dance and Pilates classes. Quality, performance, and aesthetics are central to the space. With its Parisian-inspired, calm, high-end environment, the flooring needed to enhance the studio’s look and feel while supporting the user experience. The team needed a solution that could handle a range of activities while maintaining a clean, professional finish.

After researching the available options, they selected the Smart Flex Flooring system. Designed for dance, gyms, and fitness studios, it balances shock absorption with stability, helping reduce fatigue while supporting movement across different activities.

The project covered more than 250 square meters and was self-installed to a high standard. Working closely throughout, we supplied materials to match the schedule of work, allowing the project to run smoothly from start to finish.

The result is a beautifully finished studio at Étage London, in the heart of Shoreditch on Old Street. Reflects the studio’s design-led approach while delivering a safe, high-performance environment for everyone.
